What set’s your program apart from other Podiatric Residencies?

Having had a podiatry residency program at Suburban Community Hospital for 31 years our residents are extremely well integrated with all other services and residency programs at the hospital.

How many residency positions are there?

We have six fully funded positions.

Does this residency program provide students with interviews at CRIP (Central Residency Interview process) and does it participate in CASPR (Central Application Service for Podiatric Residencies)?

Our program does participate in CASPR, but we are undecided as to our participation in CRIP.

What are you looking for when selecting a resident?

We are looking for someone to represent our podiatry service well, a motivated, interested resident who works well with co-residents, attendings, and all services equally.

Does this program offer a clerkship for podiatric medical students?

Yes. We participate in the on-line application for clerkship placements.

Do you accept applicants from all the podiatric colleges?

Yes.

Does the program provide support for educational expenses?

Yes. Residents have a $1,000 fund annually for CME.
